Issues - Public Safety

I believe that one of our city government's fundamental responsibilities is to provide the highest level of public safety despite these challenging economic times. I will work hard to ensure that Everett fulfills this responsibility and maintains adequate resources for delivering essential public safety services such as police, paramedics, and fire suppression.

My public safety record is clear: I have consistently advocated for funding to meet emergency response times, and to provide training and proper equipment for our first responders. I've also supported the addition of new police officers and firefighters for our city as needed.

In addition, I am also committed to ensuring that our neighborhoods are safe by dedicating resources to fight crime, graffiti, and gang activity wherever we find them. My goal is to help Everett continue prioritizing public safety programs that will keep our families, neighborhoods, and businesses secure.
